Renovated apartment in 1920s heritage building. In the absolute heart of the city. City rooftop and skyline views. Surrounded by Melbourne's famous laneways, bars, restaurants and cultural icons.
Located in a 1924 heritage office building designed by renowned architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin. Converted to apartments in 2001, this two bedroom apartment is currently set up as one bedroom and one study.
There is a bright open plan living area with double height windows. The living room has a sofa and armchair, TV, dining table and chairs, and a desk overlooking the city with a monitor, speakers, wireless keyboard and mouse for your laptop.
The kitchen is compact but contains everything you need including kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, gas cook top, refrigerator, and dishwasher. All our standard pantry staples are available for you to use.
The bathroom has a large shower with great water pressure, sink, toilet and washing machine. Towels and linen are provided.
Guests have the whole apartment to themselves.
This is our home and we rent it out when we are out of town. Where possible I will meet guests on arrival and give you an introduction to the apartment. I will be contactable via airbnb while you are a guest in the apartment, and will provide contact details for someone close by to assist you if required.
Please treat our home as you would treat your own and leave it in the condition you found it. No smoking inside.
Currently living in the heart of Melbourne. I'm looking to travel more and experience city and country life by staying in homes through airbnb. I am also starting to host people in my home when I'm away.
I work in the museum and gallery sector and have a soft spot for new technologies. I also love contemporary art, photography, travel and the internet.
