We’d love to share our home with you. We are on a quiet street, at the foot of Ring Mountain, a block from the San Francisco Bay wetlands with views of Mount Tamalpais. Our one story artistically furnished home sits in a quiet garden setting.
You will enjoy a comfortable and welcoming base with nearby biking, hiking or visits to Muir Woods, San Francisco, the Wine Country, and Point Reyes National Seashore.
Nearby Ring Mountain nature preserve has hiking trails with panoramic views of the entire Bay Area. Just 5 minutes from the SF Ferry and a 15 minute drive to San Francisco. You can either ride your bike in the city or your take in on the ferry. There is an amazing market only a ten minute walk away with gourmet take out and a coffee bar.
Our backyard is tranquil and private. You can choose between 2 redwood decks to read, study, eat, lounge or relax in our hot tub.
You’ll sleep like a babe in an extremely quiet, luxurious and well-appointed room with French gliding patio doors looking out into the garden.You will sleep in a new, sumptuous, top of the line queen sized bed. Your room is furnished with an antique dresser and a solid oak roll top desk,cable television with HBO and high-speed Wi-Fi. You will have access to our fully-equipped kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms.
For runners and bicyclists, we are right off the Paradise loop. There are many on and off road options. . Few roads and bike paths on this side of the globe can compete. This is a quiet bayside ride along sweet-smelling bay front roads over undulating hills with breathtaking views of the bay. Lots of great places to stop for food, drink and views. You can make this a refreshing 13 mile loop, a 23.5 mile loop to the Golden Gate bridge, a 43 mile training loop into the heart of the City or head out to Point Reyes or over Mount Tamalpais to Stinson Beach.
Our area is also blessed with a remarkable music, film, arts, food, wine, and restaurant scene. We have lived here many years and can guide you if you like.
An upscale shopping center with Macy’s, Nordstrom’s and many other shops is 2 minutes away.
This is the perfect place for those here on a business trip, attending a workshop or retreat.

Our son graduated from college and we have always wanted to be innkeepers, now we have a spare room ! We would love to tell you about Marin and the Bay Area. Mary loves everything related to food and can tell you where to go for that special meal or something casual. We can send you off to some of the most spectacular sites in the Bay Area with maps and restaurant recommendations or tell you about our favorite hiking trails.
We have a portrait photography business. Mary was a Master NLP practitioner. Things we love: hiking, swimming and bicycling, films, music,West Marin, Big Sur,Mendocino.

Marin has two local art movie houses and of course the Mill Valley Film Festival each October.
