This is a great, clean house. Recently remodeled, new paint, new carpeting and new bathrooms. Complete with granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms. Just perfect for Mr. and Mrs. Snowbird!
What a great, clean house with two bedrooms and two baths. 20 minutes from PSP airport yet, high above the valley where you can enjoy the peace and quiet in this fully furnished home. A step up from a cabin, but complete with all the amenities one would need.
The house is classified as a two bedroom, two bathroom house....each rooms have brand new queen sized, pillow top mattresses, new carpeting and there is a couch that can fold out to a bed to accommodate an extra person. Maximum allowed are five people. The fifth would be on a fold-out couch and sheets are in the hall closet.
Rates may be higher for holidays, special events (Coachella Music Festival, White Party, Dinah Shore Weekend, etc) or high season. Early check in can be arranged.
Keep in mind, you are in Desert Hot Springs. There is clearly a psychological divide between it and Palm Springs with Interstate 10 being the divider. Even though the drive is 20 minutes to Palm Springs, after a few days of going back and forth, one might tire of it and that isn't conducive to the full Coachella Valley experience.
Fortunately, what Desert Hot Springs has that Palm Springs doesn't is the huge numbers of Spas everywhere. The warm, mineral waters bubble up mere feet below the ground, thanks to the San Andres Fault. So, everywhere you go in the city of Desert Hot Springs, there are Spas.
I can be your personal e-concierge if this is your first time here. The real draw is mostly for our Canadian friends, Washingtonians, Oregonians and Mid-Westerners where their friend is that bright yellow orb.
Garbage is on Monday. If there is any garbage, the GREEN garbage can would need to be brought out to the street prior to 9:00 a.m.
No smoking allowed. You can however, smoke outside on the front or back patio; just make sure cigarette butts are extinguished and disposed of properly.
Honor the residence, the neighbors and the beautiful Coachella Valley.
Know that the neighbors are looking out to maintain the serenity of the neighborhood.
I've been going to the Coachella Valley for over 20 years and fell in love with the valley the first time I saw it. It took me this long to get to the point where I could own a home, close enough to Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City, yet in a quiet environment that is conducive to the peace and tranquility the region offers.
I chose this area mostly due to logistics to the Palm Springs Airport (10-15 minutes away). I enjoy living in the home periodically; the water comes directly from the wells of Desert Hot Springs and is just as safe as anything bottled. Mission Hills Water Organization claims the water is not only healing but has also won awards!
I am thrilled to share my house with others; I hope you will enjoy the home as much as I do. The backyard is presently a work in progress, but it is just perfect for those sleepy, serene, desert evenings. And did I say, the stars? Oh my goodness, the stars at night!!
I expect to retain it for many years, enjoy it myself, my family and share it with others.
