This small, but eficcient apartment over two floors is newly renovated! Wooden house from 1892 in beautiful Rodeløkka. A perfect, peaceful yet central place to stay! Close to airport bus, and a minute from tram and city-bus. Very good connected. A 7-minute walk from the "hottest" neighbourhoods in town - Grünerløkka and Tøyen. Fits even a small family because of the double bed + upper bunk bed + matress to put on the floor. Welcome to our charming flat!
Do you want to live in the charming wooden-house area Rodeløkka, just a seven minute walk from Grünerløkka, the most hip and trendy part of Oslo? With close distance to the airportbus and a large amount of other transport just around the corner? But still in a quiet cul-the-sack with wooden houses from the end of the 19th century? This might be the place for you!
Last year we remodelled this small, but cozy flat with a brand new bathroom, upgraded the small kitchen (with stove, fridge, microwave and washing-machine) and we painted and fixed the bedroom.
We can recomend this flat for a couple or even a tiny family that want to have an economic holiday. The flat is small, but charming.
Bedroom with 150-double bed, one extra bed above this (top bunk 70 cm fixed to the wall) and an extra (small) matress to put on the floor (for children) means we can fit a family of max four people. Kitchen with possibility of cooking, fridge, washingmachine. A "bar" table in the small kitchen can seat two people. If three or four, additional small chairs available.
All in all: This is a very charming, yet small flat in a house from 1892. You will live in the nicest area of Oslo (our subjective opinion of course) - Rodeløkka - with its proximity to Grünerløkka, the Munch museum, the botanical gardens and with public transport a 30-second walk away. Really great place to have as a base exploring all the Oslo has to offer. As we live in the floor below the flat, we can be helpful with all kinds of issues on short notice. Looking forward to having you here! And it is accessible at all hours - day or night - because of the digital code lock system. Convenient!
Available help via telephone or a knock on our door. We live in the 1st floor and can be of help if we are at home. Selfcatering household. You get bedsheets and towels, but make your own bed. Many nice cafees nearby for breakfast. Grocery store 30-second walk from the apartment.
Very close to public transport. Also to the airport bus. Great neighbourhood, but still very quiet.
No smoking, no parties, no high noise after 23-o clock. We live downstairs with two kids so we want respectful and friendly guests - but we love to help out with tips about a great Oslo-holiday.
I love to travel - and have been around the world. Now, with small kids, the trips are fewer and to safer areas. And since we have a nice cottage in the mountains of Norway, we would love to share this with fellow travellers.
