Charming art deco apartment all to yourselves - loads of local gems (bars, restaurants etc), all quick walking distance. Easy trams to everywhere, Skybus express Airport to St Kilda, $13 uber to CBD.
Also one gorgeous cat called Rodney (female) who keeps to herself and is very loveable (and can be taken care of by lovely neighbours).
Maybe it might be something a bit different? It's a charming art deco apartment - tall ceilings, ornamental features, curved windows overlooking trees and dappled sunlight in the courtyard. Cool in summer and heaters throughout in Winter, with a rocking open fireplace that will be stacked with wood for you to get 'romantic' if you so wish. Quirky interior. Outdoor areas are great - there are a couple of them.
The place is a bit 'nomadic bohemian' with an edge of art deco elegance (without sounding too wanky).
Also one gorgeous cat called Rodney (female) who keeps to herself, is very independent and very lovable. I have a 5 meal feeder - and can ask my lovely neighbour to feed her anyway.
I have a parking permit that will be in the letterbox, with the keys. We can work out the letterbox key when we connect.
You will have the apartment all to yourself (oh except for beautiful furry friend Rodney).
Given the nature of Airbnb, this is my private residence, so there are some personal possessions around (but not too much). You are welcome to help yourselves to reading the books etc shelves and clothes rack will be free for you to use.
I guess just being aware that this is an apartment block, so please keep the noise down after midnight and respect the neighbours generally. :-)
- Communal coin laundry outside kitchen door, communal courtyard and outdoor area outside kitchen
- Cat has 5 meal feeder which will need to be topped up every few days
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm a sucker for beauty - which has equated to spending a chunk of my life running art galleries. I'm currently an assistant to a film maker and project coordinator for a non-profit foundation.
I'm so in love with St Kilda, and also surrounding areas (The Astor in Windsor is my favourite place in the world). This place has so many hidden gems - being a lover of food and wine I'd be rapt to offer up some tipoffs to help you to have a memorable and delicious time when you stay.
Travelled a fair amount - favourite place could be Sri Lanka (but that can change depending on my mood!). Love Louis Theroux, the local Memo Music Hall (stunning grand old St Kilda theatre with great acts), original music of many sorts, Tom Robbins books, St Kilda Baths, Red Stitch local theatre, Chapel St Windsor haunts (so close). Did I mention the Astor Theatre? A sweet $6 uber ride from here... just saying...
And of course my funny fluff ball cat Rodney, who lights up everyone's lives whose paths she crosses.
Looking forward to meeting you!
