Private garden apartment with all the amenities. Located in the heart of the bustling Haight Ashbury, nearby quaint Cole Valley and the peaceful Golden Gate Park. This classic 1897 Victorian is my home above the apartment that has its own entrance.
The space is at garden level and is quite serene for city living. It has an uncluttered feel unlike subletting someone else's apartment. And the bonus is that it has a lovely garden view with a hot tub right outside your door surrounded by lush 100-year-old trees and new plantings with 2 frolicking kitties.
This quaint and cozy place is perfect for one or a couple who want to experience this vibrant and convenient SF location. A great hotel alternative for your fabulous San Francisco vacation, a romantic getaway, visiting friends or family, or the business traveler who want to feel like a local. Steps away from unique shopping and a wide variety of restaurants in the historic and colorful Haight Ashbury. Or take a pretty stroll to the tucked-away gem of Cole Valley for more dining and shopping for the discerning taste. Located at the gateway to the Golden Gate Park and a walkable distance to world-class museums and sites or just a great place to walk, run, bike or skate (rentals available nearby).
The place is centrally located with many main bus lines, trains, and frequented cabs to get you around. If you have a car, street parking is unrestricted and quite readily available for San Francisco standards.
A review of the Haight in one sentence, "It's eclectic and not for the faint at heart." Translation: This is not Pacific Heights...everyone from every walk of life is welcome here.
Truly a classic San Francisco experience!
The hot tub and garden are shared space, and it still feels private minus the cost of renting an island.
If you have questions or need anything, I live upstairs. But you'll rarely see me because you have your own entrance. I definitely use the garden and hot tub though, so come say "hello" ...or draw your curtains ;)
PLEASE NOTE: HOT TUB is off from December 1 to March 1. This offsets the high cost of heating the home during Winter months.
