We are very flexible and willing to accommodate.
Please check in before 10 pm unless we have discussed otherwise.
We discourage hair dryers, curling irons and other electrical appliances. Please ask before plugging anything in. We are off the grid and have plenty of power but some items are very hard on our battery system.
Hello, this is a photo of myself and my husband Steve. We chop all our own firewood, hence the photo choice.
We have lived in our home since September 2008, every year we are more settled as our roots grow deep. I always wanted to live on the Canadian Shield, where large expanses of pink granite poke out of the earth...and now I do. We have 100 acres of mostly bush, approximately 10 acres cleared with split rail fencing creating small fields. We dream of complete self sufficiency, and are well on our way of becoming just that.
We have traveled for work for the past 11 years, exploring Africa, South America, Europe and Greenland. Our home is furnished with our travels, and tells our tale of adventure. Now we have two beautiful boys to share the adventure with, Loeto and Malachy. They are both under the age of 4 and provide us with much pleasure, laughter and joy.
