Private room in a 1970's home undergoing some love and renovations. It has a lovely full pillow top bed for you to rest on and a desk for you to get some work done. Ideal for travelers with longer stay since it has a full closet. Bathroom is shared with one other room if their are guests.
You will have access to the kitchen, living room, and basement common areas. We also have a fire pit outside and patio that you are free to lounge around. If you do use the fire pit please be safe with it! Depending on the season there may also be a hammock out for you relaxing and reading pleasure.
I work a typical 9-5 and volunteer many nights during the week from home but am flexible with your checking process. I love interacting with people and hearing about their travels. If you need ideas on interesting sites to visit, outdoor exploration, or restaurant recommendations I can help you out with that. If want to hang out with us in that is just fine or if you are looking for an escape I can be quiet. Just let me know what you prefer. I am a dog lover and have two in the house. They may be more noisy than me. One of them likes to sing to you if you are in the kitchen the other is a princess.
We are a smoke free and vape free home.
Our home is open to you and we ask you to leave it the way it was found when you arrived.
Please be conscious of your energy use. Don't leave the lights on if you are not here. Take extended showers (over 20 minutes).
If you are planing to use the common areas or are here for an extended stay there are a few additional rules:
