Welcome to a new century of mid-century!
This 1957 historic and architecturally significant home has been meticulously renovated and offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 6 guests for true hospitality.
Please note, City Occupancy Tax of 11.5% is required and added at time of booking.
I am pleased you have chosen to spend time in the Palm Springs Modern Classic for your visit to Palm Springs.
Perhaps the greatest benefit of this home is the pleasure of residing - even for a short stay - in the Twin Palms residential neighborhood. You will be among many permanent residents who value the look and feel of a quiet and safe place to live. They, and I, will look to you for your help in preserving that special sense of peace and quiet.
Please note: this home is not suitable for events, parties and gatherings. Violations may result in immediate disengagement, loss of deposit, and no refund for remainder of guest stay.
It is important to be a good neighbor - whether you are at home or in a vacation rental. This home's House Rules contains provisions of the City's Vacation Rental Ordinance. A complaint call from a neighbor to the City will bring a Vacation Rental Officer to the home. Two of the most common complaint calls made to the City are practical ones that respect local sensitivities, Quiet Hours and Outdoor Music - two key House Rules:
1. Quiet Hours are 10:00 PM - 10:00 AM. Swimming, pool-side chats, and fire-side conversations after 10:00 PM must be avoided.
At other times, POOL TIME is one of the most popular activities to enjoy in Palm Springs. Please be thoughtful and keep voices and pool activities to a reasonable level. Continued and ongoing screaming for an extended period of time can disturb the neighbors.
2. Outdoor Music of any kind - and at any time - is forbidden by City Ordinance.
Please note, Officers dispatched to the home may issue citations - to guest/s and host - for any infraction. Citation fees are $500 and up. Any host fees are deducted from guest deposit.
House Rules, continued:
3. Indoor music may not be audible at the property line.
4. Overnight Occupancy Limit = 6 guest; Daytime Occupancy Limit = 9 guest
(all guest must be registered with home owner prior to check-in)
5. Vehicle Limit = 3 (per City Ordinance)
6. Minimum age to rent this home is 25 (guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)
Have your identification at hand. This can include your Driver License or Passport. Make sure the name on your identification and passport match the name on the reservation. Mismatching names can make it difficult or impossible to check in. For fraud prevention and security purposes, a copy of your ID is required prior to check-in and will be kept on file for the length of your stay.
Home Security: security on this vacation rental includes a home alarm system and outside video cameras. The home alarm is armed upon arrival and guest access code is provided at time of check-in.
NEW: Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance requires a Good Neighbor Brochure/City Manager Statement of Rules & Regulations be provided, reviewed and signed by all adult guests at time of check-in; additionally, a written contract is required with lessee/responsible person and will be provided via email when home is reserved.
Departure: a departure checklist will be provided ahead of your scheduled departure; additional charges may apply for stains on carpet, furnishings, bedding, and excessively dirty ovens, stove-tops, BBQ grills, dirty dishes, and excess trash in the home. Items needing extra cleaning at departure may be charged to guest or deducted from guest deposit.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Welcome! Enjoy your visit.
