A charming and antique bedroom is available in a beautiful house with a lot of history. The home was built in 1909 and has original woodwork, hardwood floors, and fireplace.
Stay close to Yale without dealing with the noise & crime of downtown!
No smoking indoors. There's a covered porch with a porch swing for you outside!
Keep objects clear of the heater.
No unattended open flames.
I'll give you a set of keys to use for your stay; cost for replacement is $20.
The cleaning fee covers only moderate use of sheets and towels, and not anything that makes the space unpresentable for future guests. Please put your dishes in the dishwasher and otherwise leave the house clean or be prepared to have some of your deposit directed toward cleanup. Any deductions from your deposit will be made at my sole discretion.
Please use common sense- this is my home.
Check-in and check-out times are flexible depending on your ideal times, those of other guests, and my work schedule. I'll make every effort to make things convenient for you, and I can usually break away to meet you. Reference times: check-out by 11 am; check-in after 3 pm on weekends, after 5 on weekdays. You must give me a 48-hr notice of your intended check-in and check-out times.
This is an old, antique home. A few things haven't been updated in a while (the power and the plumbing) so please go easy on the TP and don't run too many electrical appliances at the same time.
Please respect our neighbors by keeping your noise to a reasonable level.
Hi! I am a professional woman who works as a technology consultant. I enjoy kickboxing and gardening. I own a house built in 1909 about 2 miles away from downtown New Haven. I live with my boyfriend Andy and my dog Oliver. We also have two mostly outdoor cats named Layla and Barry.
