Centrally located flat with modern kitchen and bathroom, within walking distance of Big Ben and a short tube ride into the heart of London.
Comfortable and homely one bedroom flat on a quiet street of Georgian homes. Just a ten minute tube journey to all the action or a 30 minute walk along the river to Big Ben.
Enjoy a modern bathroom, kitchen and sitting room.
1 Bedroom flat between Stockwell (4 minute walk) and Vauxhall (9 minute walk) tube stations in Lambeth. The area is centrally located and close to the River Thames, the restaurants of Clapham, Brixton and Vauxhall.
Fully furnished. The flat has wireless broadband and TV with cable channels.
The Kitchen is newly refurbished and is fully equipped with all cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and includes a dishwasher and washing machine.
The modern bathroom includes a full size bath & separate rain shower.
The double bedroom faces away from the street and has wardrobe space for guests. Towels, bed linen and a hairdryer are provided.
The flat is in a late Georgian property (dating from around 1830) with double height ceilings and original wooden shutters - very English!
The street is incredibly quiet. We can arrange on-street parking permits for you (costed separately) if needed.
The area has excellent bus and tube links to all the major London attractions. There is a cycle hiring point "Boris Bike" 2 minutes away. From the flat you can easily walk along the river to Big Ben, Southbank and Tower Bridge. There is also a great pub 2 minutes away.
The entire flat. No access to the garden at the rear.
I will provide you with maps and guides to London and will be available at the end of the phone. I will leave you to explore and enjoy London by yourselves otherwise. This is a completely self-contained flat with its own entrance. I live in the separate flat below, so am available if things go wrong - but will leave you alone otherwise. I like you to have your own space.
The area is a real mix, much like a lot of London. There are big million dollar homes next to social housing. This gives the area and the borough a vitality most people enjoy. Stockwell and Vauxhall are typical multi-cultural melting pots representing what make inner London great. The best thing I enjoy is the location. Central London is extremely close and yet my street is very quiet. You're surrounded by all the action from Brixton, Clapham, Vauxhall and the West End...all close by. My visitors tend to walk into the centre, jump on the tube or take a Boris Bike (cycle hire scheme).
There are lots of options here. I don't own a car, it's pointless. The tube has two fast lines from my station. Buses are straightforward and offer lots of choice. The overland train and riverbus are also close by. Heathrow and Gatwick take about an hour to reach. Stansted a little longer. I have a very good and cheap taxi firm I always recommend to people coming in from the airport that is a fraction of the cost of a black-cab, just ask me for the details.
Whilst on the ground floor, the flat is reached by a short flight of stairs (about 10) so not ideal if you have difficulty with steps.
Just leave the place as you found it.
Maximum guests 2 people.
If you could take your shoes off when in the flat that would be great.
Whilst there is a door at the back to the outside, the garden belongs to another flat and so isn't available. Sorry.
