Lovely Les Jesuites is just outside Angouleme in a peaceful green conservation valley On the sky line is the historic city with all its culture fun and food , while here we offer you a simple private room sleeping two with its own wash basin and a sweet little wood burning stove . The room is lit from both east and west and has its own outside door . It also connects to the rest of the guest house with a good shower/wet-room just across the hall
The accommodation is for up to two and the price per night includes a continental breakfast.there is a shared living room area where we have TV and movies or just a nice room to enjoy a book, music or a glass .
We provide all towels and linen coffee and tea making free WiFi Lots of baby equipment (cot high-chair etc. )and are happy to help with making reservations and suggesting excursions
Outside there is a shady terrace and a large child friendly wildlife filled garden with a big hay meadow a large organic vegetable garden and of course our pool which is made from the Jesuites old fish tank . It is a natural free flowing spring fed pool filtered by plants and shared with a few dragon flies and the occasional frog . There are nice walks right from the door either on the national foot-path system or into town . There you can find history culture markets theatres museums and all the restaurants you could want .
We are well served by public transport as we are only 6 mins. away from the the TGV train station which connects to Paris, its airports and all northern Europe . There are also several local airports and of course we have a local bus service 500 m from here .
Being surrounded by cognac producers both big and small , wonderful countryside exceptional sites from stone-age to contemporary , castles churches towns and villages ,plus all the cultural events of the provincial capital a guest is never at a loss as to how to spend the time here , when not just enjoying the quite beauty of our home in the valley .
