At the end of a no-through road on the edge of the village, this quiet upstairs annex has stunning dual aspect country views across the Bride Valley and a balcony, perfect for a sundowner! The large airy room includes a kitchen area and there is a separate bathroom. The annex sits above our garage, accessed via a shared rear hallway. Puncknowle is a quiet village less than 2 miles from the beach, perfectly situated to enjoy the Jurassic coast. The friendly Crown Inn pub is a 5 minute walk away.

The Captain's Retreat, Quiet 1 Bed Dog Friendly

The Captain's Retreat is a one bedroomed, self contained place and which is ideal for exploring the Jurassic coastline and West Dorset countryside. Ideally situated in the idyllic village of Puncknowle, the coast at West Bexington is under two miles away and the towns of Bridport, Weymouth and Dorchester are nearby. Puncknowle itself has a traditional Dorset pub, The Crown, and there is the Parlour restaurant, The Club House, Hive Beach Cafe and many other eateries nearby.

The Snug

The cabin is simple but snug and positioned to make the most of the lovely rural views. There's a bedroom, bathroom and patio. No space for a kitchen but there are lots of great local pubs and restaurants and guests are welcome to have BBQs. The garden leads down to meadows and a track leads down to the beach (1.5 miles). Please note that we have observed a significant decline in the number of migratory birds so we are re-wilding the garden.
