As you enter The Outlook you will instantly relax, the apartment has a warm, welcoming feeling that envelops you and makes you never want to leave. It has been beautifully decorated giving you that romantic escape from everyday life we all need. Step into the gorgeous living room with comfortable sofas and a large bay window with relaxer chairs to drink in the view no matter what the weather is doing outside. The large kitchen diner is well equipped and the table has wonderful views over the sea and nearby Dunster Castle! The bedroom has a large kingsize bed making the most of the views, watch the lights twinkle over Minehead as you doze off, then wake up to a beautiful sea view in the morning. Outside you have a small seating area again with views over the town and sea, great for enjoying your morning cuppa in the sun or relaxing after a day walking across Exmoor. Your dog is more than welcome here, the owners have thoughtfully provided a dog bed, bowl and tips for places for you and your dog to visit to make the most of your stay!
Set in an area of Minehead called Alcombe yet only a mile from the beach, there is a pub at the end of the road serving both food and drink plus an award winning Indian Restaurant just a 5 minute walk away! The main town and beach of Minehead can be reached in just a 10 to 15 minute walk with its shops, bars and restaurants. The West Somerset Railway sets off from here so why not spend a day riding the steam train and exploring the Somerset countryside? North Hill is a great walk, you can drive to the top or walk from the bottom if you dare! There are walks from every direction all over Exmoor, you can spend hours exploring!. For days out in the car head along the coast to Lynton and Lynmouth, take the clifftop railway and enjoy the views. In the other direction you have the harbour town of Watchet with its small local shops. A fascinating afternoon can be spent exploring Dunster, a historic town with a wonderful castle. Beach 1 mile. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 120 yards.
