A 10-minute stroll along the Burke Gilman Trail takes you to Gas Works Park where you can enjoy full views of the city skyline. And just outside your door you have access to Lake Union for kayaking, paddle boarding, and more! *Please be aware that King County is requiring proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 tests for entry to many outdoor and indoor events and establishments. Nestled on the north shore of Lake Union, in Wallingford, you’ll find the atelier within easy walking distance of Fremont—a lively neighborhood, bustling with noteworthy restaurants and nightlife. Explore Seattle’s local breweries and distilleries, or check out the Sunday market in Ballard. Outdoor explorers will enjoy easy access to kayaking, paddle boarding, and boat rentals at Agua Verde Paddle Club. Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.
