Beautifully restored old Lady Built by Pioneer Dr. Leroy Long circa 1904, and restored by Country Vet Dr. O'Hara Tyler 1994. From the time you walk into this beautiful Old Victorian you walk into history. Occupants include: LeRoy Long, Pioneer Dr. whom also built OU Med School born 1869; Dr. G A Kilpatrick; Carl Albert, House Speaker and only man to turn down the Presidency of the U.S; Sandra Elliot, main prosecuting Attorney during the McAlester Trial of OKC Bombing accomplice Terry Nichols.

Lake Eufaula lakeview cottage!

Welcome to our lakeside cottage! We are located on Lake Eufaula only 10 mins north of McAlester, OK. There's a boat ramp located less than 1 mile away. Enjoy the lake view from the screened in porch, porch swing in the lower back yard or a hammock next to the water. Includes water access. Water shoes are recommended, it's pretty rocky. Room 1 features a queen bed. Room 2 has the option of 2-xl twin beds that can be converted to a king if preferred. Also, a queen sofa bed for extra guests.

We also have WiFi, smart TV, retro 2 player arcade game, games, a pack n play, and everything else you need for a great stay! The exclusive backyard view is truly quite a JEWELL!

Drive 8 miles to the quaint town of Eufaula, with shops and dining. Head out to nearby Lake Eufaula to enjoy fishing or swimming. Welcome to our home away from home!

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Enjoy the country setting with beautiful views in every direction. Close enough to town for easy access to restaurants, shopping and the College. Enjoy a free coffee at the Vintage Rose Boutique at 126 E Main Street, just mention you’re our guest! I Maximum number of guest is 8. We do not allow gatherings of any type. If you have any questions please contact us before your stay. Absolutely no pets allowed.

Peaceable Farmhouse

Lovely farmhouse for adults only (sorry No Children), located on a 90 acre cattle ranch. Quiet with plenty of wildlife such as: deer, wild turkey, and geese. You can enjoy the views from 2 decks- one has a gas bbq with Italian lighting, table, and chairs. Enjoy a quiet walk along our creek or fish in our stocked pond. We are only 7 minutes from McAlester and all of the shopping, restaurants and nightlife it has to offer, but far enough out of town for peace and quiet.

The Edward House at Lake Eufaula
