Newer custom 860 square foot ground level apartment attached to a 2500 square foot shop. Shop noise will be minimized during your stay. The apartment is a 10 minute drive from downtown Palmer, 25 minutes from Hatcher Pass and a beautiful 45 minute drive from north Anchorage (60 minutes from the airport). The apartment is a great base location to explore Alaska with easy driving to hiking, fishing and local tourist attractions. Alaska state fairgrounds are a quick 15 minute drive away.

Relax in this private 1-bedroom downstairs mother-in-law apartment nestled at the base of Mount Baldy, in walking distance of downtown Eagle River, and a 15 minute drive from Downtown Anchorage. We have everything you need for your trip to Alaska. Be forewarned, you will most likely meet our Doodle (Nala) during your stay, it is a kid friendly household, and an old house with baseboard radiant heat. The house stays nice and warm, but during the winter the whole place crackles.

This is a large guest suite on the first floor with Private Entrance, Private En-Suite Bathroom, Large Dressing Room, Refrigerator, microwave, dining table and sleeper sofa. The entrance is private and is accessed from the private driveway. Outside there is a bar-B-Que Grill, Firepit and yard. If a need arises during your stay, we are an email or phone call away. We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska.
