Gorgeous, comfortable, lodge decor with huge windows. This superb log home is new and comfortably sleeps 6. Large upstairs loft has king bed, built-in closets and 24" TV. 2nd bedroom downstairs has a queen bed built-in closets and great views. Kitchen is fully appointed with GE "Slate" series appliances and everything you need. Glacier View Alaska near Pinochle Trail. Cabin #1 Small cabin at the Pinochle Trail Campground and near trailhead and the Matanuska Glacier. Hike or ride from your cabin. 4 sleeping bunks with foam mattresses, electricity, heater, coffeepot, and hot water kettle provided but you'll need to bring pillows, sleeping bags, and WATER. An outhouse is in the woods by the cabin and in the campground. If the snow is too deep you may have to park at the trailhead parking and walk 300 feet to the cabin.

Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.
