Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

Open floor plan, 4 bedrooms,2 baths, laundry room, kitchen/dining area w/lots of amenities, covered-screened patio w/tables & chairs, fenced yard, shade trees, digital keypad entry, security system w/outdoor cameras, no stairs, lighted pathway from car to house & free parking for 4 cars (2 driveways) & on street parking.Additional fees after 14 days

Nice house and Great location

Newly remodeled house near many attractions. Safe and kid friendly area. Access whole house except for a side which is used for storage/office. Outdoor has a nice deck for your barbecue or do it Cajun style with a Seafood boil! Pool available March-October Attractions: 3.9 miles to airport, 2.1 miles Treasure chest Casino, .8 miles to Dillard outlet, .3 miles to the famous Cafe Dumonde, .5 miles to Harbour Seafood, 1.5 miles to the famous Daisy Dukes Diner, and 15 minutes to Downtown.

The Rustic Cottage

Enjoy a vintage stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage. Can sleep four with two per bed but better with just two. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property and the main house, which is also an airbnb. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Enjoy visiting the bayous, River Road plantations and the many great eateries in Laplace like Carreta’s Mexican food, W. Jacobs Smokehouse, Mama’s Kitchen. There is a also a nice kitchen to make your own specialties, gumbos, or some jambalaya. New stainless steel coffee pot. Coffee & sugar provided. NO KIDS. NO PETS.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
