The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

Located in the village of Guershader, approximately 1.5 miles from Stornoway town centre, the pod is situated in front of our own home with your own private parking in front of the pod. Only 2 miles from the ferry terminal this is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over! Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

North Beach Apartment is a recently renovated one bedroom apartment, located in central Stornoway. It looks over the town centre and onto the Lews Castle Grounds. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. An ideal accommodation for a couple looking to explore the Western Isles.

Clachanach Beag

My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

This self contained basement apartment is underneath our family home. The apartment is powered by onsite micro-hydro renewable energy and we are a net exporter of energy. #northshorecroft
