Wonderful stay

Pictures definitely met real life expectations. My family and I stayed for a week. It is a lovely location however one disclaimer is if you stay during the week day there is a lumbar yard next to the grounds and you can hear the construction going on. Also there is limited parking so if you are like us and want to invite family over it is not accommodating for more than one car at a time. The family who own and live on the property are responsive via text and consistently ask if you need anything which is very kind. I would recommend this listing for a special and unique experience of Maine.

Great spot close to Highway, would absolutely stay here again. We used it as a half way point on our trip and it worked out fantastic. Thanks Jonathan!

Chris and Alanna have an incredible property. The house is large, but at the same time very cozy. It's great for entertaining guests. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the heat pumps are fantastic. Being right on the water with 600' of sandy frontage was amazing. It was incredibly simple to use the mooring for the boat we rented as well. I can't say enough positive things about the property, and that goes the same for the owners. They have to be the best hosts we've ever found through a vacation service. They were responsive, friendly, helpful, and really just always wanting to go above and beyond to make sure my family had the best vacation ever. We will intend on going back for many years, it was a dream!

Our check-in and check-out was excellent. Estelle communicated very well and fast anytime we had an inquairy. The place was very clean indoor and outdoor. We loved the surrounding because the place was kept clean and functional with care. If the price is in your range and that is the area of the country you are visiting, I would will highly recommend it for you.

Jessica and Robert were such gracious hosts, the fresh flowers and baked goodies were a nice little touch! A beautiful home with a beautiful view and having the lake directly in your front yard was a great perk and breathtaking as well, lake living at its best! A wonderful Maine experience and vacation!

100% recommended! Perfect place for a family with small children if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. The views were absolutely beautiful during the fall, and the hot tub was a great addition. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. The cabin was cozy and we felt like at home, and Kay was always responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back if staying near that area!

We had the best time! The two separate cottages provided were fantastic. Well appointed with a nice country vibe. Never turned on the TV. Just played cards, ate and talked. Very relaxing. We brought our boat and it was so convenient to tie up at Josée’s dock. The fishing was great too! I highly recommend.

My family and I have found our new yearly vacation spot. This was without a doubt our best trip we’ve taken inside the US ever. Pilot heaven can’t even begin to describe this amazing place. Everything was perfect and thought out. From needing chalks and tie downs for the airplane to where to find the local syrup. Mitch has everything covered and then some. My wife and I truly fell in love with Maine because of this place. Thank you for sharing it with us.

A beautiful cabin set on a picturesque lake! Comfy beds and tons of natural light. We used the cabin as our home base after two full days of exploring the campuses of Colby and Bowdoin. My only regret is not having an opportunity to take out one of the stand up paddle boards.
