The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Suite Island Retreat

We invite you to relax and recharge with this unique island glamping experience; a tiny lakefront cabin with modern touches. From your private dock, swim in the deep water, play on the floaty mat, lounge, read, paddle in the canoe, and catch -both- a sunrise and a sunset… absolute perfection. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Belle Vue Madawaska Retreat

This newly renovated 100 year old water front cottage is located on the mighty Madawaska River. This cottage is ideal for those wishing to escape the hectic pace of city life. The perfect space for families, couples or a single person. Embrace the tranquility of the stunning Madawaska. There is a water access and a dock across the road.Perfect for boating, kayaking, canoeing, SUP, swimming or fishing. There is a boat launch less than a mile away.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
