Kalgan Retreat -Pet Friendly holiday accommodation

The beautifully appointed 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Chalet is located on a semi-rural property, only 15 minutes from Albany CBD. With everything a family could need. We are a Pet Friendly retreat with plenty of room for your pets to run and play. A short walk through the property you will find the Kalgan River, where you can kayak with the family. We have plenty of kayaks for you to use free of charge. We have a few friendly farm animals including Nigerian Dwarf goats, horses and an alpaca.

Leave the city behind, to restore at the Walpole Wilderness Resort! Luxuriate in your spa looking out over paddocks with lambs, kid goats, kangaroos & wood ducks. Wander 170 acres of old growth forest. Listen to the Boobook owls at night, and Kookaburras in the morning. Have a BBQ on your private wrap-around veranda. Snuggle by the fire at night in our spacious, comfortable chalets. NB- When we list on external platforms such as this, we have to lift our prices a little to build in fees.

We are following COVID cleaning & hosting recommendations. 72 hours between bookings, recommended cleaning solutions and hired linen washed in hot water with hot press.

It is a quiet and peaceful space with lots of birdlife and regular visits from the many kangaroos who like to graze on the grass. Our chalets make a great base to get out and explore the region and ensure comfort and a great space to relax when you get home from a day out.

Billa Billa Farm Cottages

We have four, spacious and very comfortable self-contained 2 bedroom cottages. Each cottage can sleep up to 5 people. 1 bedroom with a king size bed and the other bedroom with 3 single beds, all bedding and bath towels are provided. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. A wood fire located in the open plan lounge room and dining area and a private verandah with an outdoor setting and barbeque overlooking the dam and valley.

This is a bespoke home with a character and charm of its own-a wonderful holiday home that allows itself to be a great Winter and summer destination . Chalet Moma is a 5 minute walk to Boomer Beach which is great for body boarding and surfing and a 15 minute walk to Horse Shoe Bay where its fantastic for swimming, jetty jumping, stand up paddle boarding and just relaxing on the sand.

Our cottage is nestled between magnificent karris on the banks of the Wilson Inlet offering lovely water views in a tranquil bush setting. Take a break, come and enjoy the fresh air and relax whilst watching the abundant bird life from your private deck – see Pelicans soaring above, wrens, finches, parrots and much more in the grounds of the property.
