There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Nestled between two lakes with some of the best lake trout fishing in the Matanuska Valley, enjoy your stay at our quaint 1940's homestead cabin. Don't worry, we have added modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. Sip coffee at my granny's table while you plan your day, take in the mountain views from your kayak on the lake, and enjoy a cozy evening campfire. Make this cabin your home base as you explore some of Alaska’s top attractions!

Talkeetna Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

Welcome to the Fireweed Guesthouse. Comfortable 2 1/2 bed, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen, and a large front deck with the most amazing mountain views. Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.

Hatcher Pass Basecamp Chalets #7

Hatcher Pass Basecamp Chalets are nestled at the base of Hatcher Pass in Palmer, Alaska. Enjoy the trails from your front door and use the chalet for all your adventures in Hatcher Pass. Hiking, biking, skiing, sledding, await you just outside the cabin door. Each chalet is 2 bed 2 bath with washer and dryer and modern features like radiant in floor heat.
