The Queensport Beach House sleeps 4-6. Ideally located beside the Queensport Public Wharf, about 20 minutes past Guysborough. Enjoy stunning lighthouse views from beach, deck, galley or loft. Come and experience the absolute tranquility and unforgettable sunsets. See the wild aerial shows by all our sea birds. Enjoy breakfast watching the seals, go fishing, boating, biking, hiking and explore our Lost shores. Main level master with queen bed. Note this property is closed November to April.

2 bedroom cottage on the Mira River Cottages property. Open concept living area and kitchen. 2 single beds in each bedroom, and futon which can sleep 1 or 2 persons. Less than 30 mins to Sydney, 17 mins to the Wildlife Park, and 45 mins to the Fortress of Louisbourg. And with a short walk from the cottage you will be greeted with the breathtaking view of the Mira River. We welcome you all year round where you can enjoy the 4 seasons of Cape Breton. A boulder-studded wall rises up towards a stone walkway, which is fitted with an integrated fire pit. The outdoor hot tub & seasonal outdoor shower are located next to the cottage deck.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

There are so many reasons to stay out on the Mira River where sunsets from our wharf are breath taking. Lakefront apartment provides amazing views in a comfortable setting for an enjoyable vacation or travel to Cape Breton. We are 30 minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry terminal in North Sydney, 20 minutes from the entrance to the Cabot Trail via the Englishtown Cable Ferry . We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.

Point Edward Guesthouse

Our cozy guest house is located along the Point Edward Highway, but don't let the name of our street discourage you from staying. It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
