During this class you will learn and hands-on do all the steps to make a beautiful artisan-quality loaf of sourdough bread both with and without the hassle of making a sourdough starter. You will taste a number of different variations of the bread, and learn how to make those variations as well. You will leave with a warm loaf of bread to take home, and sourdough starter if you wish. If baking has always intimidated you, this is a great class for you, as you will leave here with the confidence to DO IT!!

My home is air conditioned, and all on the ground level. There are two small stairs to the home. My two small dogs are part of the experience, and they will want to greet you on arrival. Once you arrive they will settle down and fade into the background until the next person arrives. My home is filled with art, and I have a nice herb garden just off the kitchen.

Everything is provided, but you should wear comfortable shoes, and leave the bracelets at home or in your purse or pocket.
Even if you have never baked bread before, you will leave with all the skills you need to do this at home, including a list of equipment and ingredients. If you are able to travel with it, we will provide you with some fresh lively sourdough starter to take home. This cannot go on airplanes.
