Take a break from it all and indulge your senses with greenery, fresh air, and cool waters. I'll lead you on a rejuvenating hike alongside boulder filled rivers through some of our country's most ancient mountains to relax beside a creek or waterfall. Then I'll guide you through a blissful and peaceful yoga flow in the shade of tall forest trees. After you realign your mind/body connection and you allow any stress or tension to melt away, I'll also give you plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy a rewarding lunch while soaking in the sights and sounds of the rushing water. There’s nothing like the refreshing mist of waterfalls to cool you down on the hottest summer day. You can return home reenergized and reconnected to self, nature, and one another. Small group size perfect for wedding parties, birthday celebrations, reunions, corporate retreats, clubs & organizations, corporate groups, Meetup events & more. Transportation not included. We meet at Asheville Visitor Center and caravan, or meet the trailhead. Lunch and drink not provided, so please pack your lunch and water.
I'm a former classroom teacher of fifteen years, a lifelong nature lover, and an RYT 200 Certified yoga instructor. My favorite place to practice yoga is outdoors - there, it feels so natural and inviting to connect with your outer world and inner world. I'm thrilled to share my passion for life, hiking and yoga in our beautiful North Carolina mountains with you. I've hiked on all seven continents and absolutely love connecting with people from all over this earth! Let's share a day of good vibes and gratitude in the fresh mountain air.
I provide yoga mats and carrying straps, upon request
We will meet at the Asheville Visitor Center, or an agreed upon trailhead or park no more than a 1-1.5 hour drive from Asheville. Many trails can be accessed easily from Brevard, Hendersonville or Black Mountain. The location offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and arrive at a peaceful mindset. The event will be moved or canceled if the forecasts calls for a high chance of rain on the hike.
