This 3.5 hour experience will start with a quick neighbourhood tour on the way to our home. We will gather in the kitchen for a Plant-Based cooking lesson (based on your meal preference), discussing the nutritional components of our recipes, and how each meal nourishes us. We will prepare a main, side, and dessert, featuring a tasting of our house-made microgreens and kombucha. After we have cooked our meal, we will gather around the table for a dinner party, either inside or outdoors listening to our favourite Afrobeat music.
Hey there! We’re Ariel & Jess - an Afro-Cancubaussie foodie couple on a journey of reconnecting with our roots & the holistic foods of our ancestors. Our journey started with Jess being diagnosed with candida 5 years ago - since then our marriage of cultures has brought us nothing less than a bounty of blessings into our kitchen. Over time, we've been able to master the craft of anti-candida (wheat free, yeast free, sugar free) and plant based baking and cooking. This passion led us both to enroll in the Holistic Culinary program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and start a holistic food delivery business! Embodying the concept that food is medicine, we have completely transformed ourselves into new beings by cooking holistic meals from scratch, & believe in sharing our knowledge about food consciousness with others.

Starting at our local Native Plant Garden, we'll have a short tour on the way back to our home where we will host the cooking lesson and dinner party (either inside or in the backyard).
