We will begin by reviewing the three-course menu I have curated based on the selected film or TV show. The menu will consist of an appetizer, an entree (with a side), and a desert. I will first demonstrate how to prepare each item, and then assist you while you cook the dishes yourself. After all the food has been prepared, you will enjoy the film or TV show of your choosing while I plate and serve the meals to you. Come hungry, creative, and ready to learn some new cooking techniques and recipes!

From an early age, I was an adventurous eater. Whether it was visiting local Los Angeles restaurants, or traveling abroad, I strive to try as many flavors and dishes as possible, dissecting each meal and identifying new cooking techniques and methods. I took this passion to the kitchen and spent several years as an apprentice to a catering chef, working out of a many venues for groups of varying sizes. While my love for cooking grew, I also became passionate about the film industry and spent many years working on independent film sets as a producer and director. I appreciated how both cooking and film allowed me to express myself. This AirBnB experience was created out of my love for both cooking and film.

We will be cooking in a private catering kitchen with restaurant grade appliances to teach you how to handle a hot and busy kitchen. Also enjoy a large screen TV as you eat.

Josh's experience was truly one of a kind. Such a unique thing to do. Josh was very accommodating to movie choices and prepared a fantastic dinner plan. His chef expertise was clear as he directed us in cooking a wonderful thought-out meal. I would highly recommend this experience if considering it.

Such a wonderful time!! Josh made an incredible menu, and I (as a pretty goof cook, myself) learned A LOT!! I can not wait to remake it for my family. We had so much fun watching the movie, and noticing the connections. I am absolutely booking this again, I LOVED it!

This was a really nice experience. It was worth what we spent. Josh created a menu based on the movie that was chosen, “Midnight In Paris”. He had appetizers for us to snack on and did a good job rotating through all of us and the food we needed to prep in order to make our 3 course meal. We got to keep our Vday wine glass and he had to go containers for those who wanted to take some of their meal home.

This experience was great and WELL WORTH the money. We did the experience as a date night and truly appreciated the thought that went into curating the menu and were blown away by how well Josh explained the process as we were actively making the meal. We learned so many skills and he had it such a blast!
