This is a new experience created July 2019 for the cool of the evening. We traverse the golden and blue hours of sunlight to star/moonlight through sunset, twilight and dusk. Cycling through time, we see the light as it fades into dark thus experiencing Austin's transition from day to night. We are a part of the local scene celebrating the cooler evening time. We cycle at the water's edge to the east to see the sky begin to change and perhaps see the moon rise. Returning west, the city is aglow in the light of the golden hour. The skyline has a golden look which turns to blue as the light fades. Riding to where we can see the sun setting over the hill country skyline, we pause to admire the colors and enjoy the locals playing in Town Lake. As our time together comes to a close, natural landscapes with the possibility of the glow from the moon, highlights the night life of Austin. Then back into the edge of the city for the night views and to where we load up your bikes to return to the bike shop.
A really-long-time Austinite, I reconnected with the joy and freedom of being on a bike. With 15 years of cycling in the city and the countryside, seeing the city from this immersive perspective gives insight into the hidden parts of Austin and the changing character and characters in the city. I want everyone to experience the joy of riding a bike and seeing the Austin we locals love, not just the one you read about in the articles touting the capital. Come be in our city with me and let's ride.
For an additional charge, the culinary experience chef can create an after-ride treat for you. Message me to explore this…

Traveling close to the water, parks, and then moving into the night, we visit the “swimming hole” where locals howl at the moon…the full moon especially calls for howling. From there, we travel to a part of the park that is secluded and while in the city, it has the feel of countryside. Then back through an entertainment district for a different type of night life and then to a 50+ year old park with hill-top trees then back to the city.
