During this trip you will learn everything about the medieval France. Perouges department, which is 300 years older than Lyon, was the first one to be called «The most beautiful French village». I will tell you the history of this unique place during our walk through this breathtaking architecture. We will visit the beautiful church of Saint Mary, which has a historical monument classification. Afterwards, I will invite you to have lunch at the rustic café and enjoy the famous dessert of this place "Galette de Perouges". Dating back at least to 1912, it has become a real brand. La Galette de Perouges is made with lemon scented dough, covered with French butter (or cream) and sugar. And it tastes even better than it sounds!

We will visit the village called Perouges, walk through its streets, go inside of the church. A long time ago it used to be a settlement of craftsmen, where people were involved in hemps production, weaving and agriculture. The restaurant where we will have lunch is located in the centre of the village and a rustic and authentic touch.
