Ready for some adventure? We will be embarking into San Diego's Mission Bay in search of good times and good beers. After meeting at the cove I will give brief instructions on handling the kayak, rules and safety, and most importantly- a cold local brew. Our first leg of the journey will take us across the bay and under the bridge to a hidden little dock serving fresh fish and frosty beers. After capturing a few photos and enjoying the sites we will continue on to our next stop. It will take us about half an hour to get to one of San Diego's oldest secret islands. Here we will enjoy another great local beer and a small waterfall water feature stocked with local fish, including a shark! Our last leg of the journey will be a nice paddle across the bay to finish at a local swimming area. If you are interested in booking a date that isn't currently available, please contact us and we may be able to accommodate your group!
I’ve spent the last 15 years surfing, kayaking, sailing, and splashing around looking for adventure. My pursuits have taken me from Australia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Malaysia, and Thailand. Since childhood my passion has been exploring the beach and I've made myself a home here in Ocean Beach, San Diego. I’ve worked as a lifeguard and a bartender in-between my travels, giving me a unique set of skills to make sure you have an awesome time on our Beers, Kayaks, and Buds tour! We will be exploring San Diego's Mission Bay, the largest man made aquatic park in the country. There will be two stops in the tour- the first at a local fish market and the second at a local bar and grill.
You will get wet! Consider bringing a dry change of clothes for after the experience. Must be comfortable in water, we will be not be going out into the ocean but the bay is deep. These kayaks do not have engines, be ready to paddle. We will take breaks as needed but this is a moderate activity.
