* We will start by explaining how the Cacao started as a very importnat product in Ecuador (history & background) * We are following the whole process from Cacao Fruit. * Extraction of seeds.( we buy the Cacao fruits from a family member that leaves in the Cloud Forest / good quality) * Toasting * Grind step * Mixing Cacao powder with different flavors * Tasting with local fruits All this process will permit you to see the eassy but at the same time complicated process that chocolate factories use it but in an artesanal wayy.
I am Jorge Sandoval, I am working at Fundacion Bolivar Education with base in Quito that organize Volunteer Programs in Ecuador and being a coordinator for more than 10 years have given me the experience to offer experiences that foreigners might be looking for. And one important skill is at cooking. And Cacao is a very recognized product that not many people know how to get the final product.
All activities take place inside a house BUT always with a friendly cultural view and experience from a local home.
