The program consists in a gorgeous hike from Looe to Downderry through the costal path, with an approximately duration of 2 hours at a moderate pace with plenty of time to enjoy and feel the magic of the stunning sea views and the beautiful coastal hills, crossing fields and farms from where you will, with a little bit of luck, enjoy delicious and local fruits! When we arrive to Downderry, you will have a short time to relax and refresh before starting your 1 hour Pilates training. The class is multilevel with special attention on each personal needs. We will work on the core as a main group of muscles, which will encourage the complete body work, enhancing the strength, flexibility, balance and alignment. The complete experience lasts 3.5 hours and ends after the class. You should arrange your return or I can gladly arrange it for you with a local taxi company. This program is divided into two different parts: Hike through the Coastal Path from Looe to Downderry, 7.3 km (5.9 mi) 1 hour Mat Pilates (small group) at Downderry Village.
I'm a Venezuelan Contemporary Dancer with a bachelor in Performing and Pilates Instructor certified by Physical Mind Institute, with more than 20 years of experience dancing and teaching to a wide range of students between children and adults. I have developed a particular way of expression where movement, self-perception, humor and joy are the most important factors about learning. After falling in love with Cornwall, where I now fortunately live and teach, my mission has been to share the beauty and magic of this place (what I call my piece of paradise) with sensitive people who cherish and respect nature, hiking lovers and people who’s passion is to care and understand a healthy body training throughout a complete day nature immersion, which includes Hiking and Pilates method.

This Coastal Path (5.9 mi) is a mixture of easy strolling and some more challenging walking through cliff paths, urban landscapes, woodland and wide fields which led to a sandy long beach. An old methodist chapel will be our Pilates place. After class, you might want to swim or sunbathing in the Seaton beach or have lunch in a local and family caffe by the beach (that I personally love), or in a local restaurant or at the oldest Pub of the area.
