This experience is getting to know and see how people from different ethnicities live together in Colombo and the city functions efficiently with these different communities. We will have an in-depth understanding of the core principles of each religion and get to know how people in Colombo practice religion. This is an interesting conversation where you can ask any questions you may have about our faiths. During the experience we will also get to know more about Colombo and try some interesting food! We start off at a Buddhist temple, then take a tuk tuk to a Hindu Kovil and visit a catholic church. We then start walking through busy street bazaars of Colombo where a lot of trade takes place and people from different communities live together. We stop for a break at an interesting local restaurant for some local food and tea. We continue the walk to the last stop which is a prominent mosque. I have selected the most unique places of Colombo for this experience and you will definitely get to know many interesting stories of my city.
Hi, I'm Dulanjalee. A young resident of Colombo who has seen the city transform over the last two decades. Before showcasing this city to travelers, I worked in the apparel industry for brands such like Lululemon, Land'send, GAP and Banana Republic for over 5 years. During this time I found that I have a knack for showcasing my city to others and over the last two years I have explored every corner of the capital city and gotten to know its lesser known secrets. Join me on an experience and I will show you what Colombo has to offer and what makes it unique and interesting. During my days off you will find me exploring dive sites of Sri Lanka, surfing or conducting a yoga lesson by the beach.

Colombo can be a little hot, it would be good to wear comfortable clothing and footwear. But keep in mind that we are visiting places of worship so conservative clothing is appropriate.
