We meet close to Herastrau Park, in the Press House Square parking. It is a good point to fit our bikes, have a short presentation and start riding. We are visiting Herastrau - the largest garden of the city, then we head south along Victoria Boulevard. We will stop at the Arch of the Triumph, Victoria Square, Revolution Square, Romanian Athaeneum and University Square. Each site has its story and you can take photos. We will continue our trip to the old city center and have a drink on a terrace. Then we are coming back to the starting point, visiting other sites of the city. As we are flexible, we can organize pick up and starting point at your hotel or in another suitable place in the city.
I am guiding throughout Romania since 2007, mainly on cycling roads. Bucharest is the city I live in. I came here as a student back in 1997. It is my pleasure to guide travelers and to present the city and the stories. I am one of the first cycling guides in Bucharest and I was among the experts the city hall collaborated in order to develop the cycling paths. As Bucharest is a large city, it takes lot of time to visit by walking, while by car you can see only the large boulevards and the parking might be a problem. This is why I created a Bicycle Tour of 3-4 hours, suitable for travelers looking to discover the main sites of the city by bike. We are using only cycling paths and low traffic roads. Bicycle and a drink are included in the tour. Looking forward to meet you here!
