This is a fun, slightly messy, group art experience. All ages are welcome. Adults and teens can enjoy the creative process right alongside the younger ones. It’s perfect for the solo traveler, couples, friends and family. We will greet you and give you time to settle in as we demonstrate the project or painting of the day. Most of our time will be focused on creating. We try to incorporate different techniques into each piece. If there is something that you would like to try or a type of painting that you would like to do, please let me know. We want you to leave with a piece of art that you want to display in your home. Toward the end of class, some of our younger students need a little something extra to do. We always have more supplies on hand just in case. It’s also a good time for looking around at the artwork or for viewing the blacklight booth. There will be time to allow your artwork to dry to the touch, but it may still need time to set before putting anything on it. Usually I have extra cardboard boxes or other supplies for helping with transportation.
Hey y'all. My name is Eddie and I've been practicing art for 25+ years. I enjoy sharing my stories and skills with others. My wife, Sarah co-hosts classes with me. We do our best to make sure that we can teach together as much as we can. Sarah took art classes from elementary school through college and has taught people of all ages everything from writing to life skills to drawing and painting. She’s from New York, so ask her about winter and whether she misses it. I am a “retired” award winning New Orleans chef and am so blessed to be able to focus on my artwork, the gallery, and classes. I used to teach culinary arts and now I just teach visual arts. It’s funny how things work out like that. Our goal here is to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment so everyone can enjoy the creative process. Be blessed y'all!

You will be welcomed into my art gallery, which is located in the Esplanade Mall. In addition to my paintings are statues, an interactive display, and a blacklight booth.
Add in extra drive time as New Orleans is a busy city. Remember your painting clothes and your creativity. **Outside food and beverage are welcome.** Target is nearby in case of emergency.
