We will start with a short walk through the small alleys in the historical area of Mariaberget and enjoy the magnificent view of Stockholm city, as seen from Monteliusvägen. Shortly thereafter you can relax and enjoy a cup of homemade organic coffee (tea is also available) from the local, award-winning roastery "Johan & Nyström" together with my homebaked Swedish cinnamon roll. During the "Fika", a well-known Swedish word for coffee time, I'll perform 30 minutes of piano music on my "Steinway & Sons" grand piano. After the concert, we will walk down from the hill to the lively Mariatorget square. Here, if you wish, you can grab some organic, vegan ice-cream from the local ice-cream maker "StikkiNikki" or some delicious pastry and bread from one of not only Stockholm’s but also Sweden’s best bakeries; "Bageri Petrus". A small warning for lines of customers waiting outside from the early morning to get their hands on the daily bread! The whole tour is approx. 2 hours long.
I'm a concert pianist who frequently gives classical music performances in Europe and Asia. The idea of sharing home concerts came from sharing many lovely music evenings with my friends and my family. Our home is situated at the top of Mariaberget, a historical hill in Stockholm's beautiful Södermalm.
