Enjoy a beautiful 45-minute loop trail run through a forest and along Jewett Creek with wooden bridges, switchbacks, single track, and creek crossings. We will meet in front of the White Salmon Studio Airbnb located in downtown White Salmon. From here, we will run on a road through a neighborhood to the trail that will offer views of Mt Hood, the Columbia River, and Burdoin Mountain. We will then enter the Jewett Creek Watershed area via a single track trail switchbacking down to the creek area. We will have several different trail options depending on your preferences. The Jewett Creek watershed area has an abundance of evergreens, ferns, moss, and many more native plants and trees. We usually hear and/or see a Pileated woodpecker and other little critters. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee at the White Salmon Baking Co after the run. Reach out with any questions or special requests!
The Jewett Creek Watershed Trail Run includes Gaddis Park. This wild park is a woodland of white oaks with trails down to Jewett Creek and along the creek. There is a native plant trail including interpretive signs.
最多可有5位年满12周岁的参与者参加。 Guests should have prior trail running experience.
I wear trail running shoes but road running shoes will work just fine. You may get your feet wet crossing the creek depending on the water level.
