Private Dinner Party with a Danish family downtown old Copenhagen. We start by welcoming you to our home with a drink, while we introduce ourselves and you look around our apartment, enjoy the view to some of the finest buildings in Copenhagen and get a short story about the apartment, which is one of the oldest in Copenhagen (1797). Then we are seated at the dinner table, where you will be served a 3 course traditional Danish dinner with a modern twist, wine/beer coffee and avec. After booking our event we will ask you if you have any allergies or food you do not like or eat so we can plan dinner according to your wishes. We all eat together and get to know one another and have a great time, and get an insight to each others lifes. If Tivoli have a firework that evening we will enjoy it from our window, where we have panorama view to the firework. And hopefully you end the evening with the feeling of new friends and a true and authentic insight to Danish life and the taste of real Copenhagen and Denmark.
I am the definition of a true "Foodie" Making food is the greatest passion in my life. I practically grew up in a kitchen since both my father and grandmother were chefs. My grandmother taught me the old traditional Danish kitchen and my father the "New Nordic". I love having guests and get to know people from all over the world and let them have a authentic, local and traditional taste of Copenhagen. And I have hosted people from all over the world for more than two years who all have loved my event; both the food and the insight to true Copenhagen life and "Hygge".
We consider your wishes regarding food and drinks: allergies, things you do not like etc.
The event takes place in our apartment downtown Copenhagen. Our apartment is one of the oldest in Copenhagen (1797) and have many original features despite modernization incl. original floor, beams, windows, doors, stairs and walls. From the apartment you have amazing views to some of the greatest buildings in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Castle, The Stock Exchange (Børsen) and Church of Saint Nikolaj and panorama view to Tivolis firework.
