Your Tofino Surf Experience begins... We meet at the newly constructed Tofino Tourism Building , central to our local surf spots, and drive to the beach together. (I have the option to meet at your accommodation or at the beach - mention alternatives that may work best for you when we connect) The surf lesson begins with stretching into a wet-suit ~ yep everyone looks like an action hero in one. Carrying surf boards as we walk a forest path to the beach, under the tall west coast trees, we talk waves and share stories. Once at the beach we learn how surfers say high, about the wildlife we are sharing the ocean with, and of-course the how to's of catching and riding waves.. ..all the important things you need to know to be successful at surfing, and to help you stay on the best side of your fellow surfers. After taking a moment to soak it all in we move into the water to make some memories, maybe hang ten and certainly have a great time! Taking a break to catch a breath, I share pointers to help you refine your technique and we go for a few more waves before snapping a few choices selfies, changing back into our regular clothes with smiles from ear to ear.
