We will meet in the very heart of the city and kick off with a traditional Slovak welcome: a shot of super local spirit served together with bread with salt. So from the beginning you know you are our host - and Slovak hospitality is the thing. Our journey thru the city continues winding around the old town streets omitting the crowds, visiting a cool museum with perfect views over the rooftops. Snapping some super cool photos all the way. There will be lot of cool information and stories about Bratislava - so we need to interrupt with some chill out stops. One of them is to refresh with best crat beer ever - lovely lager in the shade of a hidden pub. Later on we will try local patry and clinmb up to the castle hill for picnic! Picnic with the view, where you will have possibility to tase Slovakian cheeses, Austian ham and Hungarian salami. As this is an Austro-Hungarian picnic as we like to call it - why ? Join us to find out. You will flush down all the tasty stuff on picnic with nice and cold localy produced sparkling wine. Nicely fed up after picnic we continue uptown to the places most tourists never reach, we visit a monument and end up in very local tavern for some beer.
I work in a family run business - travel agency since 18 years old - tourism is my day to day bread. I love to show travellers around my home town, lived my whole life in Bratislava. We are a team of 6 together with Lucia, Zsolt, Patrik, Marek and Bejamin - all of us locals trully in love with our home town and eager to show you around. There is history on every corner waiting to be discovered. Been working in the travel idustry more than 20 years and enjoying it. I understood that my home town is being underestimated a lot by travellers - even those who visited, and that was because it is not about what you know but who you know. I have travelled the world but - Bratislava is such a beauty - I love it.
