Participants are expected to demonstrate an experiential understanding of mindfulness through participation in actual practice sessions such as mindful breathing, mindful eating, mindful journaling, and mindful listening-talking. Evidence-based mindfulness research will also be discuss.

Example of mindful breathing:
A-Awareness (Noticing thoughts, feelings and body sensations)
G-Grounding (Notice breath, inhale and exhale)
E-Expand (Mindful of self, self care)

“Living in the Age of Distraction: Mindful or Mind full? (An Introduction to Mindfulness Based-Cognition”

According to Jon Kabbat-Zinn, Mindfulness means paying attention to purpose, moment by moment and non-judgmentally. In reality, individuals are living in the age of distraction nowadays with internet generation. People have attention difficulties, they tend to be forgetful, and the tendency of difficulty in managing their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Mindfulness has been shown to improve well-being (Carmody and Baer, 2008) and reduce psychological distress (Coffey and Hartman, 2008).
Participants are expected to demonstrate an experiential understanding of mindfulness through participation in actual practice sessions such as mindful breathing, mindful eating, mindful journaling, and mindful listening-talking. Evidence-based mindfulness research will also be discuss.

I'm a trained and practicing mindfulness facilitator in the Philippines since 2015. I have undergone series of training and practicum on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in the country. I was trained by the mindfulness teachers of The Center for Mindfulness Canada and Ateneo de Manila University Fr. Bulatao Psychology Services.

I facilitated mindfulness sessions in various workplaces, schools, communities, and non-government organizations.

I am currently working as a public school teacher and also a designated school counselor. I'm a licensed psychometrician and teacher in the Philippines.

Mindfulness workshop can be conducted in a training room or classroom setting (indoors) as long as the place is peaceful and not too disturbing for focus and concentration. It can also be facilitated in the nature park setting (outdoors) for a quiet and peaceful place.

This is best suited for individuals who acknowledges that their minds are "full" and it needs to be decluttered. And Darryl is warm and welcoming😊, he will guide you in a non-judgemental way.

If you want to experience something unique on self realization about getting in touch with yourself , then this tour is for you. This was all basic stuff that I would not have gone through by myself. This class has changed my life. I know it sounds crazy but it really has. I know personally I find myself constantly living in the past & in the future - this class has taught me just to live in the now! If I feel like crying then I will cry, if I feel like laughing then I will laugh. Just let things come natural. Just accept things as they are! Could you imagine if the entire world thought like this? What an amazing world we would live in! Loving life!!

I did not know what to expect but the experience turned out great! Darryl was very arm and accommodating all throughout and I felt comfortable talking to him. He shared a lot about mindfulness and I particularly loved the mindfulness breathing, self awareness and grounding activities! The activities are very simple but helpful to me! :)

We came without an expectation of what’ll really happen. Darryl helped us understand mindfulness and how it can help us in our own lives. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
