We will visit the farmers market, taste samples and have lunch together. As we walk through the market, I will share information about the Seattle farmers market network and will introduce you to local farmers and business owners I know. I will also help you shop if you are looking for certain foods for your stay or for a dinner. I’ll teach you how to pick certain produce too! If you are visiting Seattle you might want to see Pike place for its iconic sign and produce on display. But the majority of the stuff there is not actually local. You will have more fun and learn more if you visit a local farmers market and I will be able to introduce you to farmers and small business owners, as well as tell you about their business and growing methods.

I have been working with Collins Family for four years and have many personal relationships with the farmers at our different markets, as well as the farmers market managers. As the guide of this tour, I will be able to introduce guests to farmers and food vendors at the markets and recommend what to get from each booth. As an avid fruit lover and professional fruit seller, I am specifically interested in showcasing the types of fruit that grow in Washington state!
I will send my customers home with some free fruit from the Collins Family Orchards booth. I will curate food tastings with…
We will meet at the farmers market and visit multiple vendor booths. We will sample treats and produce from different farms and I will talk about the different farms/food businesses that we visit!
