* 10% off when booking 2 people at once * We've got a lot to do, so we'll jump right in to the flour and mix up our dough. While that's resting, we'll work on a delicious authentic homemade sauce of your choice: Arrabbiata (a spicy, garlic and tomato based sauce), Limone e Burro (a creamy lemon butter sauce), or my husband's favorite, Alio, Olio, e Peperoncino (garlic, olive oil, and hot chili peppers). Next we'll roll out the dough into thin sheets, using a cranking pasta machine, ready for cutting or shaping. We'll cut some into spaghetti, and we'll learn how to make farfalle (bow ties) and ravioli. Then we'll toss them in the pot for just a few minutes. Now for the best part: we'll sit down and enjoy our delicious creation. Buon appetito! I lived in Northern Italy for nearly seven years and learned to make homemade pasta and traditional sauces from our lovely neighbor, Giuliana. She made pasta from scratch every day and it was fascinating to watch her, and eventually I lent a hand. She taught me that pasta wasn't hard to make, and well worth the effort. I love making pasta at home, and my family enjoys it so much more than store bought.
