Spend a day off the beaten tourist track winding your way through suburban streets in Sydney's diverse and unique neighbourhoods including Redfern, Chippendale, Milson's Point, Lavender Bay, Balmain and Haymarket. Along the way we will sample food at local cafes and restaurants, eating foods you may never have heard of but are much loved by Australians. Vegetarian? No worries! We will stop for a drink at a local pub to give you a chance to try an Australian beer, wine or cider. You are on holidays after all!! Using Sydney’s public transport network, we will get from spot to spot on foot and just like the locals do; by ferry, train, bus and tram. I have been living in Sydney all my life and love to immerse myself in the history as well as the modern day culture of the city. With countless fantastic areas to explore, many of which are just outside of the CBD, hidden gems often go undiscovered by tourists and locals alike. I am a keen adventurer and am always looking to discover a new cafe, restaurant, pub, park or event so that I can then share with others.

The day will be spent walking through some of Sydney’s most popular suburbs all just a few minutes from the CBD. These include: Redfern, Chippendale, Milsons Point, Lavender Bay, Balmain, Rozelle, Glebe and Haymarket.
