We will tour Austin's Greenbelt on high quality mountain bikes. It's a roughly 5 mile (roundtrip) engaging course along Barton Creek over genuine trails surrounded by lush greenery and amazing wildlife. We will stop a couple of times for scenic photo ops and water. We will actually hike the bikes down to the first stop (10 to 15 minutes depending on group). This is not only safer, but also allows everyone to get their "trail legs" under them, and a pre-mounted feel for their two-wheeled steeds on terrain.
Most importantly: I'm all about YOU! If a specific date/time (or simply prefered snack) will enhance your experience, then all I have to say is: "As you wish!" I grew up in Austin, and have been exploring the city's wilderness for over 20 years. I LOVE being able to share the Greenbelt's beautiful and exciting trails! With a plethora of experience leading experiences -from scuba diving, to mountain climbing, to wild horse training- I was able to grow the list by becoming a tour guide for Lake Travis Zipline Adventures last year, where I received CPR and Wilderness First Aid certification!
