See Kibera as only a local could and experience the real Kibera through the lense of hope. We’ll meet the dreamers creating a difference in Kibera through their mission-driven, small businesses. There are 5 stops on our journey...
1. Moses's House - I'll start by inviting you into my house, to tell you my story, from growing up in Kibera through starting my own tour company with a mission.
From there we’ll walk the railroad tracks of Kibera, meeting the people.
2. The Kibera Organization - We'll meet Edu who provides microloans for female-owned small businesses. They also provide motorbikes for Kibera residents to get to work.
3. Bio Gas Center - We’ll meet Edwin, the founder of a project which turns Kibera’s waste into energy for it’s inhabitants.
4. Women’s Craft Center - We’ll meet Rosemary who set up a workshop for women living with HIV. Collectively they remove the stigma of HIV by employing women with HIV to create crafts.
5. Master's Touch Bakery - At the finale of our tour, we’ll meet Nancy for coffee & fresh baked goods. Nancy will relate her story of starting a business as a single mother and the adversities women face starting a business in Kenya.

Hi, my name is Moses.
I was born, raised and still live in Kibera, the largest continuous slum in Africa.I studied development studies and challenges facing emerging countries.I am volunteering with Kijiweni Welfare Group on projects in HIV,Peace Management and Conflict Resolutions,Human Rights advocacy,Sustainable development Projects etc. I’ve worked as a tour guide for 8 years before starting my own business. By hosting these tours, I am lucky enough to have found a way to weave my mission of empowerment and passions together and bring it to the people.(i.e. you).I like football, outgoing, traveling, reading, and socializing. This tour gives you an intimate view of daily life in Kibera. It will show you the infectious raw spirit that dwells within it`s walls and you will fall so hard for the people that make up this incredible community.

- This was an overwhelming and excellent experience to learn about Kibera. I enjoyed how Moses cares for the people and genuinely wants to help them. He educated me on the happenings around him. I had the opportunity to meet the people, especially the children. I am not a person for words, but the experience was outstanding and I highly recommend.
