This experience was made for the rainy season!! We begin at the Capilano Pacific trail, the opposite side of the Capilano suspension bridge. Greeted by enormous evergreens and great tall mossy maple trees, the sound of the river is present immediately as we gently wind along the ridge 350 feet above the river below. A easy path guides us through dense and spactactular rain forest. Loaded with waterfalls, wildlife and beautiful trellis and bridge work. We arrive on top of the great Cleveland Dam with sweeping views of the famous Vancouver Lions, Grouse Mt. tram and the beautiful Capilano River below. A round trip will take 120mins.
I've been hiking and exploring West Van for over 30 years covering vast trail systems and beautiful beaches. The dense Coastal Rainforests have been my cherished playground for years. I have spent endless hours and seasons wandering in wanderlust through the hidden trails and local beaches of West Vancouver BC. from the enormous 1000 year trees to smallest and most delicate blue-green lichens and moss, l cherish and will share it all with you! I'm charismatic and love showing off all the amazing spots only a local would know. The Capilano Pacific Trail is certainly my favorite trail to hike of all!
Bottled water provided.
