Learn to embroider in this beginner workshop! You’ll grow comfortable with embroidery basics as you complete a rad stitch sampler hoop & mini decor hoop while learning several basic stitches! We’ll talk about how to choose great colors and how to modernize an age-old craft. You’ll leave with a handy set of skills that can be used on so many different objects! Workshop includes an Embroidery Starter Kit will all of the materials needed plus some added goodies. This class will cover: How to transfer a printed image to fabric What types of fabric, embroidery floss, needles and other tools are required How to do a basic outlining stitch to complete your embroidered image How to finish & “frame” your finished piece in an embroidery hoop Materials Include: 2 hoops, pre-printed fabric, denim, transfer paper, floss, needles, stitch instructions, marker/pencil, drawstring project bag, & notebook.

After working as an Industrial Designer in Home Decor, it became increasingly important to her to ensure handmade retains its voice. She’s been stitching for over 12 years & teaches craft workshops throughout the Bay Area.
